We're pleased to offer the following services Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic:
Health and Medical Examinations
A yearly health examination is essential to your pet's health. During a health exam your veterinarian can address any concerns you may have regarding your pet's health or welfare. This is an opportunity for your veterinarian to detect signs of illness before they are apparent to you.
Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic follows the current vaccine recommendations made by the American Academy of Feline Practioners (AAFP) and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). During your pet's exam, the need for vaccination will be assessed.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are equipped to handle your pet's urgent care needs. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If your pet is having an emergency after hours please contact Guardian Vet Centre.
We are equipped with an in house laboratory and are able to perform blood chemistry, complete blood cell counts, urinalysis, parasite examination and basic cell evaluation. We also have ready access to dedicated veterinary laboratories.
