Dr. Jody Bennett, DVM (Owner)
Jody graduated with a BSc in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta in 1996. She went on to complete a degree at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (University of Saskatchewan) in 2002. Since graduating, she has been employed at Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic and has been part owner of the clinic since November 2008. Jody has been guardian to many pets and currently shares her home with four furry family members.
Sherry Lee, Registered Veterinary Technologist (Owner)
Sherry graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT in 1987. She immediately starting working at the Southside Animal Hospital where she continued to work for 18 years. In 2005 she made the transition to Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic and became part owner of the clinic in November of 2008. Working with animals over her career has been, and continues to be, a labour of love and she wouldn't want it any other way.
Dr. Jeff Brooks. DVM
Jeff was born in Edmonton and lived here most of his life. From an early age he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian and achieved this dream graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (University of Saskatchewan) in 1987. He shares his house with his partner Stephanie, dog Wiley - often found hanging out at the clinic - and three cats (Milo, Finn and Frankie). Outside of work, his interests include photography and rare books.
Dr. Dana Snell, DVM
Dana graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and since then she has been practicing small animal medicine in the Edmonton Area. Her professional interests include preventative medicine and small animal internal medicine cases. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running and learning guitar. She and her husband currently share their house with one grumpy cat.
Terri J. Registered Veterinary Technologist / Practice Manager
As a young girl growing up on a farm just outside of Leduc, Terri knew she always wanted to work with animals. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 2001, she worked with exotic animals for 2 years. In 2005 she graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT and began her AHT career at Terwillegar Vet Clinic. After working at various other clinics around Edmonton, Terri returned to Terwillegar Vet Clinic in October 2014. She has a special interest in nursing care, animal behaviour, and the human-animal bond. Terri resides in Edmonton with her husband, two daughters and her beloved Boxer, Keenan and a French bulldog named Zola
Mallory N. Registered Veterinary Technologist
Mallory has always had a strong love for animals and graduated from NAIT's Animal Health Techonologist program in 2011. She started from the ground up in the animal health world. Mallory started as a volunteer at one clinic and then got a job working with sea animals as a Marine Animal Care Attendant. She has also worked as an Animal Care Assistant, Kennel Attendant and as Reception Staff. Mallory has always had dogs growing up. She now has 3 dogs that she has rescued while working as an AHT. There is her cuddly, scruffy Schnauzer mix named Abbie; a beautiful sweet Shepherd mix named Dakoda Bear and the energetic Collie mix named Parker. Mallory is looking into further training in animal behaviour as this is an area of great interest for her. In the summer she loves to spend time on the water wake boarding or surfing and camping with friends and loved ones. In the winter she likes to get away to the mountains and snowboard.
Courtney B. Registered Veterinary Technologist
Courtney has always had an immense love for animals. Originally from Fort McMurray, she moved to Edmonton in 2013 for NAIT's Veterinary Medical Assistant Program. After briefly working in emergency medicine, she found her home at Terwillegar Vet. She was accepted into the NAIT Animal Health Technology program in 2016, and has recently graduated. She loves working with people, and providing the best medicine possible to their furry companions. When she's not at work, Courtney loves art, enjoys cooking and spending time with her partner, Dustin. They share their home with 2 fiercely adorable companions, Gus the terrier and Ginger the pomeranian mix who is often found hanging out on the reception desk.
Daniella F. Registered Veterinary Technologist

Daniella was born and raised on a farm just outside of Lethbridge. Growing up surrounded by animals, she always knew that her calling was to work in the animal health field. After Daniella graduated as an Animal Health Technologist from Lakeland College in 2012 she moved back home to work in a small animal clinic in Lethbridge. In September 2014 she moved Edmonton with her husband Luke who began working with the Edmonton fire department. Daniella has a 1 year old cat that she raised from a 2 week old kitten. Raya Charles had severe damage to her eyes when Daniella took her in and the kitten needed both eyes removed. Despite this set back you'd never know that Raya is blind!
Courtney M. Veterinary Medical Assistant
Courtney grew up in a small town in southern Manitoba and has always had a love for animals. She was constantly bringing home "strays" and her house was always referred to as a small zoo. Over her lifetime she's had a variety of pets including hedgehogs, gerbils, cats, dogs and even a pet raccoon named Rocky. She moved to Edmonton in 2005 and took the Veterinary Medical Assistant program at NAIT. Courtney joined the Terwilleger Vet Clinic in July 2014. Outside of the clinic, she loves to travel and enjoys fishing, playing baseball and golf and watching hockey.
Courtney G. Veterinary Medical Assistant
Courtney spent most her life in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She moved to Edmonton in 2017 to enroll in the Veterinary Medical Assistant program at NAIT. She decided to complete her practicum here, and subsequently was very happy to accept a full time position. Courtney has had many pets, including kitties, birds, hamsters, mice and fish. She misses Sadie, her beloved old beagle who is currently living with her parents in Nova Scotia. In her spare time Courtney loves to play soccer, travel, run, camp and go to live music shows.
Julie S. Veterinary Receptionist
Julie has loved animals and nature for as long as she can remember. Over the years she has owned many pets. There have been rabbits, rats, hamsters and their babies, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish and even prairie dogs! She grew up in Ontario, moved to Victoria, BC, and 7 years ago moved to Edmonton.
Julie worked as a dog walker for several years, vet assistant and a veterinary receptionist for the last 5 years. In her off time, she loves all things gardening, & nature, music and spending time with her husband, 3 grown children & grand puppies! Her home is also shared with 3 loving 15 year old cats, and 2 awesome dogs Foster & Ellie.
Jadie D. Veterinary Assistant

Jadie is a veterinary student who began her studies at the University College of Dublin, Ireland in the fall of 2017. Originally from London, Ontario, Jadie completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph in 2015. Shortly after, she moved to Edmonton to live with her partner Andrew and joined the Terwillegar team in May 2015. Outside of the clinic Jadie enjoys hiking in the mountains, playing soccer, and taking way may too many pictures of her fluffly cat Todd.
